John’s Island Service League raises $450,000 to aid those struggling during COVID-19 pandemic
VNA AWARDED $25,000 GRANT FROM JOHN’S ISLAND COMMUNITY SERVICE LEAGUE TO SUPPORT CHARITABLE CARE.
VERO BEACH, Florida – (Wednesday, May 18th, 2016) – Recently, VNA Home Health and Hospice received a $25,000 grant from the John’s Island Community Service League. The funding will benefit the non-profit’s Medicaid-Eligible Patient Care Program (M-EPCP).
For more than 40 years the JICSL has evolved with changing times, and while this past year was uniquely complex, it was an extraordinary one. It was the fourth year in a row we made grants in excess of $1,000,000. It is only because of the generosity of our John’s Island community that we are able to support operating expenses for so many agencies that serve women, children and families in need as well as provide scholarships to John’s Island Employees and their children.
