Today, the Service League is at the forefront of change in Indian River County with 1,000 members (men and women strong) and nearly 250 volunteers. This year the JICSL donated $1,579,500 to our neighbors in need.
For more than 40 years the JICSL has evolved with changing times, and while this past year was uniquely complex, it was an extraordinary one. It was the fourth year in a row we made grants in excess of $1,000,000. It is only because of the generosity of our John’s Island community that we are able to support operating expenses for so many agencies that serve women, children and families in need as well as provide scholarships to John’s Island Employees and their children.
